Japan Sans is a Japanese font that is suitable to be embedded as Web Font. Japanese font files are usually huge, containing manay characters including the kanji characters. Japan Sans was derived from Source Han Sans/Noto Sans, it only includes the crucial characters like kana, alphanumeric and symbols.
To use this font as web font you need to specify the font family stack as mentioned in this link (in Japanese). Basically, the other characters that were not supported by Japan Sans will be substituted by your device’s/computer’s Japanese system font.
Japan Sans comes with 4 styles, from normal to condensed style.
